Make-up Artistry/Styling Room

The Rouge Room, our in-house make-up room is so much more than just a make-up room. It's a cozy 500 sq. ft. red lounge featuring a metalic gold dressing room, three wardrobe closets full of unique clothes and props, a comfortable seating area, and an "Old Theatre" style make-up counter with two stations.

The Make-up counter is stocked with predominately MAC make-up and a mix of industry favorites like Ben Nye, Tarte, Cinema Secrets, Make up Forever, Kryolan, Stila and others. The possiblities with this assortment of make-up are endless: light and natural, business/professional, glamorous, dramatic, dark gothic, fantasy, and more. We have the tools and the staff to achieve the look you want.

Hairstyling is an essential part of your overall look and with so many choices: big sexy curly, straight slick, teased edgy, professional groomed, natural looking, or fantasy. We'll help you decide on a hairstyle that works with you, your make-up, and your wardrobe.

Wardrobe selection from your own closet is always encouraged. You know what you like and what fits you well. We do however like to assist you in your selection and add to your own wardrobe from our wardrobe and prop closets to ensure your overall look is unique, suits your style and flows well with your photo session.

Aside from make-up and hairstyling for our photo sessions, we offer these services for special occasions, or for any reason, maybe you just want to treat yourself to a make-over. PLA, Lead Make-up Artist

Orange County native, PLA has been an artist ever since she can remember scribbling with crayons as a toddler. She then moved up to drawing with pencils as a kid, now all grown up, she has graduated to the fine art of painting and make-up artistry.

She's been a full-time fine art painter since 2000, exhibiting her paintings in many places coast to coast. That same year she met Paul Schneider who sparked her interest in Make-up Artistry after introducing her to his world of photography. Soon after she began working as a make-up artist at his studio. In 2005 she was formally educated and certified at the prestigious Fred Segal Beauty Studio in Santa Monica, CA. She also became a MAC Pro member and has been trained in many MAC specialty courses. Her past make-up artistry work includes print ads, photo shoots, and music videos for: Coors Light, Aqua Mantra, Iona Magazine, Spiritual Fitness, De La Vega, Neila, Mad Jones Band and, over 1,000 people.
