FAQ:

1. Why Schneider Studios? You like the photography. The images excite and stir your senses. The website portfolio shows examples of his work and if they fit your needs--imagine them representing you. If you are interested in headshots or commercial print photography, he will see you get a professional image that will excite your clients, incite more business, or capture a casting director.

2. Technical Reasons? He can work in many formats like film, digital, large format, medium format and has the equipment systems to support them. He owns the photography equipment for both product and lifestyle production. Included in his inventory is the state of the art lighting, abundance of stands, scrims, reflectors, and flags. Also, there is the latest digital photography equipment with the computer systems to process and manipulate digital images. He has both 35 mm and medium format film equipment and the computer systems and negative scanners to convert film to professional digital files. The studio offers services and referrals in computer processing, layout, printing and website-ready materials. He and his staff are professionals and understand what a client wants. He delivers strong images on time, in the format desired and without hassles.

3. Studio? He has a 3200sq ft studio, which is available day and night to see a project through without relying on rentals, locations and weather. The ceilings are 20 foot high and offer a catwalk for lighting. The studio has natural lighting but with the closing of curtains can be completely dark. There are also theme related sections or “rooms” for shooting. The studio has several 12ft cove backdrops.

4. Locations? Schneider studios owns a modern cargo van and trailer for full production location shooting.

5. Set Building and Props? On the studio grounds is a set building shop. He has a wood working facility and metal working equipment. If a creative environment is needed he and his staff can shape an image that includes sets and custom props.

6. Studio Location? His studio is located in Orange County, in an old firehouse, in the city of Santa Ana where the 55 fwy, 22 fwy and 5 fwy all meet. He is open by “appointment only” within a gated area for production security.

7. Paul Schneider? He has been shooting professionally for 8 years, 7 years in the same studio. He has a background in art direction, set design and building for production companies and studios. He specializes in shooting people and capturing character and moments often not seen by others. He enjoys using his art direction and set design influences to accentuate his subjects though creative backgrounds, adding to, but not taking away from the subject matter.

8. Pricing? You will find Paul Schneider’s pricing very reasonable—comparable to many photographers working out of their homes and without studios, equipment and computer systems. All projects are bid on a job-by-job basis. Obviously headshots packages are fixed: please call for current pricing and services included.

9. Call or e-mail? Please call or e-mail and he would be happy to talk to you about your project. Great pictures don’t have to be expensive, especially if you know what you want. He must add—he and his staff would be happy to refer you to a photographer specializing in a particular style or field. Phone # 714-569-0727 Studio Office or # 714-936-3636 Mobile
